Testing one, two, three

Unfortunately, that picture really is depicting what our society is today. Before, we only had one computer at home, using dialup to check on our e-mails...loading a video would be impossible. Now, not only do we have MULTIPLE computers and laptops at home, using the highest speed we can image, we also have smartphones and tablets to "accommodate" our every day life. I would be one of those people right now, having that feeling that I won't survive without "stalking" my friends on Facebook, which is made easier with an iPhone by my side! :D *cheer!!*

However, the real issue is, is spending too much time on the computer degrading our society? There are a lot of articles out in the World Wide Web regarding issues of lack of communication and literacy due to increase computer use. I believe that this issue is quite real and it is happening fast! Being a netizen, I've seen some crazy literacy problems online. It saddens me when I see people are being spelled pple, your is ur, then instead of than (vice versa) and etc... And what's worse? People actually believe they are spelling it right!

I know I know, not everyone can spell every word in the dictionary, myself included. BUT! At least have the decency to spell the words we use EVERY DAY. It will help them improve, and make it easier for the person reading it. And who knows? Maybe, just maybeeeee, that our society can continue without the failure of communication.
