Hello All,

My name is Andrew and I'm a Sophmore with an undecided major, although it will most likely be Media Studies.  Like the rest of you, I'm an avid user of the internet and it continues to consume my life.  Taking this class seemed relevant to our society, as myself being an example of someone frequently using the internet.

There is so much knowledge one can acquire on the internet.  There are also many ways to kill time on the internet, which I do more often.  I owe most of my current taste in music to the internet.  Whether it was reading the B9 Board about upcoming tours, bidding on vintage records on eBay, or streaming new demos of my friend's bands, each played an important role in shaping a hobby I'm very passionate about.

I'm hoping to have a better understanding of how the internet works and new, productive ways to spend my time using it in this class.  I'll also settle for new ways to kill time.
