Hello, My Name Is.... (Test Post)

          My name is Brian Tayco, and I am Senior in my final semester of being in Hunter College. I was here in September of 1997 that is when I began my studies here. And started my major and minor, Media Studies and English, in my Sophomore year of college of the same name. Ok, now that the formalities are all done. I'm taking this class so that I have a better understanding for the internet, though I do try to keep myself informed otherwise, and I can look at the internet from a different perspective. I would like to to know more about SOPA and PIPA, and the potentiality of pol
icing the internet worldwide, which I highly doubt in either case. Another reason for taking this class is that I want to know if the internet is a danger to society. And how is it a danger or if there is a danger? The other factor is how has the internet benefited the our world for us. But that is pretty much what I want to get out of this course. Oh what are  the other technologies that are out there that make the internet more efficient.
