Test Post

Hi everyone, I'm Giselle and I'm in my senior year at Hunter. I'm a Media Studies major and a Psychology minor. I spend way too much time on the internet, usually reading blogs, checking my emails, watching shows on Netflix, and going on Tumblr. Still, there are aspects of the internet which I dislike and privacy is a big part of that. I don't really like websites such as Facebook because I don't think that anything you put on there can be private or can ever really be erased, even if you have the strictest privacy settings. I don't like the fact that you can Google someone's name and have their whole internet history on display, which is why I try not to put too much of my personal information online. Other than that I think the internet is obviously really useful, a good form of entertainment, and also a great way for people to communicate. I decided to take this class because I figured since I use the internet so much I should probably take the time to learn a little more about it and see how it might change in the future.
