I would say, in the past 20 years, I witness how quickly did technology move. And how exponential its developmental pace was. Looking back, just recent years, we have gone from instant messages on our PC’s, to text messaging on our cellphones. It is easy to see that how technology occupy our time. You never put down the cell phone. You hardly shut down the computer.

2 days ago, I heard a little girl said to her father “Daddy’s book.” However, she was holding a kindle electronic reader.

Everyone looks on the screen more than 10 hours per days. We cannot live without Internet network or I could say “social network”. People are much easier to make friends. At the same time, some risk eg, privacy problem become controversial issue. People are much easier to poke others’ privacy unconsciously.

Technology is changing too fast. I don’t like changing. I always feel like I am lagging behind. Is it possible to slow down the pace of inventing new technology?
