I am a student at Hunter College and will soon declare myself as a media studies major. I'm very excited about this prospect because through this diverse program I will someday be able to make web sites that bring peope together through the sharing of ideas and similar interests.

I currently work at a law firm as a call center technician. This job affords me time to consume large amounts of media when I'm not helping users. This job tends to be enjoyable but without down time anyone who works in this industry could easily lose their minds.
This is usually how i feel
I am going back to school because as a person without a 4 year college degree I've found that I am a loser. If you could list my highest accomplishments in life they would be:
#1 - Getting accepted into Hunter college
#2 - Having sex with a woman
#3 - Being employed
That's pretty much it.
Of course I don't mean to offend anyone who is gay by saying having sex with a woman is an accomplishment. These are my personal goals and I do not in any way impose my brutal oppressive innate evil as a heterosexual white male on anyone. I am also taking a "women in media" class at Hunter. This was a huge mistake, especially since I am paying for the class out of my own pocket. This class will ruin every Saturday I have until May 24th unfortuately.
I used to be a standup comedian until I discovered I will die young and pennyless if I kept doing it. If you focus 10-20 years of your life on standup comedy you will also go nowhere. One web site I'd like to create after I graduate from the Hunter college media studies program is "Why you should give up on your dreams and why Hollywood is full of shit" - Ian Jensen.
